Kokutai Karate is Accredited, Governed and supported by the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association.

With this support Kokutai is able to provide students with the best in class levels of Karate as well as maintain legal compliance.

Martial arts instructor qualifications

All instructors within Kokutai have passed both their Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in Martial Arts Instructing.

This ensures that our members are receiving exceptional levels of Karate all whilst maintaining a safe environment.

Safe Guarding in Martial Arts Qualification

The Safeguarding of our students is of paramount importance to Kokutai Karate.

All instructors have completed a Safe Guarding course to ensure that all children, young persons and adults are and feel safe whilst with Kokutai.

This comes by Kokutai and its instructors following the processes implemented to ensure all members safety and identity protection.

Enhanced DBS Certified

Kokutai Karate’s instructors have completed an Enhanced DBS check to ensure that it is being run by the right type of people with the right intentions.

First Aid Trained

All instructors operating for Kokutai have taken at the very minimum an Emergency First Aid Course.

This is to ensure all potential accidents can be dealt with as effectively and calmly as possible.
